Business Development and Marketing Specialist
Caribbean & Central America Region
(Cayman Islands Base)
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development and Marketing Specialist to join our team. Your mission will be to build & engage our network of partner clinics throughout the Caribbean and then Central America, and then work with them to adopt products from our growing portfolio as part of their own growth strategy. The role demands a combination of first class marketing skills and excellent consultative business development ability.
What Does AttoCaribbean Do?
We identify, follow, check the science on and liaise with the innovators and manufacturers of new products, technology and IT, with a view to evaluating its potential for improving care and/or competitiveness in the clinical arena. We then support the adoption of the carefully chosen products and technologies into our network of clinics, typically starting with our clinic here in Cayman Islands.
How do we identify products & technology?
We follow major trends and healthcare innovation closely, at every level from the system and population level down to the individual product or diagnostic level. We have target areas. We have extensive industry contact networks and we travel to key summits on healthcare and medtech advances. It’s our job to be in the know and make good choices, then encouraging adoption of those products.
what's our revenue model?
Our revenue is based on product sales or royalties. We do not charge practices for the services we perform to help them grow through usage of our products and so the choice of partner clinic is very important. The ‘price’ of working with AttoCaribbean is a commitment to grow and learn together over time. We derive our revenue from the product manufacturers, based on margins. Our approach is to only work with high-integrity, modern, growth-focused practices that will thus contribute to a product’s position and reputation, and generate robust sales.
Only through clinics?
Each product or technology is different. For some it makes sense to only go through a target clinic because the clinic may benefit from exclusivity. However, we have portfolio products that could well benefit form more traditional distribution into retail pharmacies and supermarkets.
