Members of our AttoCaribbean Ltd team recently attended the LSI Emerging Medtech Summit 2024 in Dana Point, California, firmly reinforcing the company’s commitment to maintaining an incessant focus on latest trends, new insights and emerging MedTech.
The summit not only offered insight into the state of MedTech in 2024, but also brought both global and regional perspectives together, pitching the entrepreneurial and scientific community into productive dialogue with funders and service providers. The summit was very buoyant, running four concurrent tracks in order to cover the sheer pace and volume of MedTech innovation at the current time.
It is designed as a platform for interaction and to enable the many fruitful conversations to happen right there and then, from meeting with industry leaders, investors, regulatory experts, funds and more. Andrew Vincent, Director of AttoCaribbean Ltd, remarked:
“The calibre of presentations and potential new technologies was extremely high. It is very clear that MedTech is accelerating currently. Interestingly, comparatively few revenue-stage companies had consider the Caribbean as an avenue for distribution, which reinforces the importance of AttoCaribbean in bringing innovations and better ways of doing things into the Caribbean. Many were extremely surprised to hear that the Caribbean and Central America combined are greater in population than Western Europe, a market that nobody would ignore.”
We extend our gratitude to all those who contributed to making our participation a success, and we look forward to sharing the insights and new partnerships gained and how it can enable positive change in the medical profession in our region.
